World Accreditation Day was established by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) as a joint initiative in raising awareness and the importance of accreditation.

In the construction industry accreditation provides an essential service in maintaining confidence in the safety of our raw materials and ensuring they meet specification, that our workers operate in a safe working environment, and that claims of sustainability, environmental and energy performance are traceable. Accreditation determines the technical competence, integrity and impartiality of organisations providing conformity assessment services such as testing, calibration, certification, and inspection based on international standards.

Building product safety: JAS-ANZ accreditation ensures that not only are building products compliant with compulsory product safety requirements but they are also used correctly according to Australian and New Zealand standards through rigorous inspection and certification processes.

Occupational Health and Safety: everyone has the right to work in a safe working environment and accredited certification aims for continual improvement, and ensures trust in our OH&S certification. 

Environmental/Energy Management and Sustainability: claims to environmental, energy and sustainability certification has gained momentum over the last decade. Accredited certification allows for more trustworthy and transparent supply chains.
