The global pandemic in 2020 was not a major disruption to the accreditation system or JAS-ANZ operations in Australia and New Zealand. However, it underscored the vital role of this system and JAS-ANZ’s part in supporting its success.

This SCI has a strong motivation to build on the lessons from our 2020 experience, lead with purpose and transform operations. It emphasises the developmentof a new assessment model that embraces the use of remote tools and a range of new methods. The expected gain is more effective and more efficient digital-first accreditation.
