As the premier event for quality and continuous improvement in the Asia Pacific, the 2016 APQO Conference is a unique opportunity for professionals in Australasia to network and learn from leading international organisations. The APQO (Asia Pacific Quality Organisation) is the peak body for quality and improvement in Asia and is comprised of over 30 national member organisations. In 2016, the APQO Annual Conference will be hosted by New Zealand's national standards and quality control organisation, the New Zealand Organisation for Quality (NZOQ).

Lead by NZOQ President Abraham Fenn, the Organising Committee has developed a fantastic programme based on the theme, QESH – Quality, Environment, Health and Safety - Making integrated management systems work together.

The three new ISO standards (9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2016) will be a major topic of discussion at the 2016 APQO Conference and will present a great opportunity to listen to some of the ‘gurus’ from all over the world.

Covering three full days the program will highlight the most current issues and strategies in quality and improvement comprising keynote, concurrent and workshop sessions, a gala dinner at Rotorua’s famous ‘Stratosfare’ Restaurant and the APQO business excellence awards and ACE Team awards.

2016's host city Rotorua is a truly unique destination and iconic to New Zealand, attracting over 3.2 million visitors each year. Regarded as one of the best geothermal areas in the world, Rotorua is a small city set on the southern shores of Lake Rotorua and surrounded by geothermal geysers, hot pools and bubbling mud flats.

The city is host to international adventure sport competitions and offers leisure activities ranging from skydiving to geothermal spa treatments.
