From 7-10 March 2016, JAS-ANZ hosted a small delegation of our colleagues from the Accreditation Body of Indonesia (Komite Akreditasi Nasional, KAN) to exchange a wide range of information about daily operations for accreditation bodies.

Over the first three days we discussed various topics, including managing assessor competence, working with regulators, and challenges for specific sectors – information security, food safety, product, and personnel certification in particular. The final day was spent with an informal visit to a certification body for more exchanges, thanks to BSI Australia.

The week was a very productive one, and an excellent opportunity to build relationships and cooperation between our two organisations.
