Privacy Information Management Systems Scheme (PIMS Scheme)

ISMS SCHEME SCOPE EXTENSION

The scheme is based on the ISO/IEC 27000 family of standards which help organisations keep information assets secure. To reflect the importance of privacy, this ISMS Scheme scope extension is referred to as the ‘PIMS Scheme’.

ISO/IEC 27001 is the best-known standard in the family, providing requirements for an information security management system, thus helping organisations ensure that their information is securely managed.

DESE Information Security Systems Scheme

As part of assistance measures for persons looking for work, the Australian Government engages private service providers under contractual arrangements that include compliance with information security requirements for both participant and Australian Government information.

The ‘object of conformity’ for the scheme is the information security management systems (ISMS) and environment of contracted service providers, of which the Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE, ‘the Department’) engages to assist persons prepare for and look for work.

Asset Management Systems Scheme

The scheme is based on ISO 55001:2014, Asset management – Management systems – Requirements. This standard specifies requirements for an asset management system within the context of an organisation. It can be applied to all types of assets and by all types and sizes of organisations. Assets can be anything from tangible and physical items such as rails, trains and vehicles to the more intangible such as the reputation of a company. All of these bring value to a company and need to be managed effectively to make the most of that value.

Information Technology Service Management Systems Certification Scheme

The Information Technology Service Management Systems certification scheme was developed to support certification of an organisation’s service management system (SMS) to ISO/IEC 20000-1 – Information technology - Service management - Part 1: Service management system requirements. Compliance with ISO/IEC 20000-1 is aimed at improving service management through providing requirements for the design, transition, delivery and improvement of services, thereby providing value for both the customer and the service provider.

Information Security Management Systems Certification Scheme

The scheme is based on the ISO 27000 family of standards which help organisations keep information assets secure.

Applicant CABs will need to comply with ISO/IEC 27006:2015/Amd.1:2020 - Information technology - Security techniques - Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of information security management systems.

Civil Contractor’s Federation Contractor Management System Scheme

The Civil Contractors Federation Scheme (CCF Scheme) contains the requirements to conduct audits against the CCF Civil Construction Management Code. The code was developed by CCF and draws together elements of quality, workplace health and safety, and environmental management in one system for the civil construction and related industries. It is designed to be used in isolation of, or in combination with, other certification standards such as AS/NZS 4801, AS/NZS ISO 9001 and AS/NZS ISO 14001.
