Australia’s Standards and Conformance Infrastructure

Australia’s Standards and Conformance Infrastructure

Every country needs a sound standards and conformance infrastructure to achieve its societal and economic goals. Increasingly all nations need to fully engage in the global economy and leverage the benefits of international trade to enable continued income growth and the economic wellbeing of their people.

JAS-ANZ is pleased to announce the new Standards and Conformance Infrastructure brochure for 2015 is now available from the Department of Industry and Science website. The standards and conformance infrastructure is essential in maintaining the domestic and foreign confidence in Australia’s goods and services, and also supports innovation and our competitiveness in the global environment.

JAS-ANZ along with, Standards Australia, the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA), and the National Measurement Institute (NMI) all make up the Australian Technical Infrastructure Alliance (TIA). The brochure outlines our various roles and contributions to the promotion of international trade and regional cooperation.
