Inspection
Inspection is examination of a product design, product, process or installation and determination of its conformity with specific requirements or, on the basis of professional judgement, with general requirements.
JAS-ANZ accredits conformity assessment bodies (CABs) to ISO/ IEC 17020:1998 for the following inspection schemes.
- Fire sprinkler systems
- Independent Verification Agency (IVA) Export Inspection for Plant and Plant Products
- Inspection and verification of HACCP based Food Safety Programs
- Official Assurances Program for Live Animals and Animal Germplasm
- Official Organic Assurances Program
- Recognised Agency – Bee Products
- Recognised Agency - Dairy Products
- Scheme for the Recognition of Bodies to Issue Certificates of Origin for Free Trade Agreements
